Miriam Aroeste Artist’s StatementLife is about playing, self search, self discovery as well as the world around us. When I paint I’m in a really profound state of being in the moment and I paint accordingly to emotion created and recreated at that very moment. It gives me total freedom to express myself fully by not compromising the new idea with any preconceived idea. I can be passionate, mellow, happy, and angry and allow myself to be. I love colour and texture; my paintings express my inner journey through this life. |
