zabela studied furniture design and manufacturing and graduated with master's degree in Art Nouveau furniture in 1983, worked for several years in interior design offices, designed stores and coffee shops, houses and boats, taught furniture design, and painted for the last 25 years. "I spent much of my teenage years in Museums, Galleries and Theatres in Europe, and consider this the most important part of my art education."
Izabela's favorite endeavour remains creating artistic interiors including furniture and accessories, whatever is needed to achieve the right mood. One of the examples is Amedeo Café in West Vancouver, which gained her notoriety and gave her the opportunity to pay tribute to her favorite painter, Modigliani.
