Stewart McKee
McKee's
talents as a watercolourist are apparent within the wide range of techniques
in which she works. Well known for her watercolours of all types
of flowers, McKee is also recognized for her work as a landsccape artist.
She has developed her own style of painting on a dark background using
various papers, liquid watercolours, stains and resists. These individual
and striking works exemplify her talents as a painter in the impressionist
style.
She
has exhibited widely in both one person and group exhibitions since the
early seventies throughout the western provinces and in Nova Scotia.
Her work is found in many private and public collections across Canada
and throughout the world. She continues to live and work in Richmond,
British Columbia. |
