Vesna Yankovich was born in Yugoslavia in 1953. She obtained a BA in Textile Art and Design in 1980 and a MA in Textile Art and Design; both from the University of Belgrade. Vesna emigrated to Canada in 1994 and resides in British Columbia. Vesna works in three dimensional mixed medium, installations and soft sculptures.
